Suggestion: Eliminate 'patent'

May I suggest that the terms "patent" and "application"
be removed from all patent databases?

These seem to cause a lot of confusion as to what
documents exist and how to access them. As replacements,
may I suggest the following for consideration:

For "patent": Publication or Registration (as appropriate)
For "application": Filing
