Sandra,

As books like this go, "Patent it Yourself" by David Pressman (7th ed.; Nolo
Press; 1998) is a good one. It should also be fairly easy to get through
public libraries.

Subject: Need Advice for a Small Inventor - How to File a Patent

Hi,
I received a phone call from a small inventor. She said "Hi, I have an idea
about XXX. How do I file a patent?"

Does anyone have good advice as to where to send a small inventor who would
like to file a patent?
Is there a website with instructions/forms for small inventors?
Thanks,
Sandra
