This is to inform you that the PIUG 2000 annual meeting will be held on
Monday May 1, 2000 through Wednesday May 3, 2000. The location is the
Hilton Crystal City.
A list of sessions and speakers and registration materials will be
published soon on the PIUG email list.
The focus of the PIUG 2000 annual meeting will be US patents. I am very
pleased to announce that Noel Akers has agreed to present a paper
discussing the differences in European and US Patent Law for Patent
Searchers. This promises to be an extremely interesting paper. Noel is the
lawyer who presented the wonderful paper on European Patent Law for Patent
Searchers at the 1999 PIUG meeting.
